Former Female Idol Who Received Allowance From Seo Jang-hoon Unveils Whereabouts As Cafe Owner

Noeul, a former member of the K-pop girl group Rainbow, revealed her recent status as the owner of a coffee shop

Recently, a video titled, “Woman in her 30s who quit her 15-year girl group career and opened a cafe”, was uploaded on the YouTube channel “Human Story”. The main character in the video is Noeul of Rainbow, a group that disbanded in 2016 after being active for 15 years.

Appearing in the video, Noeul introduced herself, saying “I’m Noeul, who used to be a member of Rainbow. Now, I’m living a normal life as a cafe owner”, adding “I opened a cafe in mid-May 2023”. Regarding the reason she started doing cafe business, Noeul said, “After the group disbanded, I challenged acting but I kept failing in auditions. After doing some small musicals, I realized my limitations. Therefore, I began to ask myself whether I liked being a celebrity enough to continue it”, emphasizing her dream of a stable life.

Noeul also aroused attention by revealing the sales of her cafe. She said, “Even in the slow season, it sells a little less than 4000 per month”, adding that her cafe also sells a variety of desserts.

Meanwhile, Rainbow’s Noeul appeared on “Whereabouts Olympics” last year. Back then, she confessed, “While working part-time to maintain my life, there were times when I didn’t even have 500,000 won in my bank account. I thought life was so boring”, adding “What I did the most to make my living was working at cafes, pubs and BBQ restaurants. A lot of celebrities came to the restaurants. I couldn’t go anywhere but one of the people who came there was Seo Jang-hoon. After listening to my story and my situation, he gave me 1 million won as allowance”
