Choi Woo Sik was recognized by foreign customers while filming “Jinny’s Kitchen”, “Did you appear in ‘Parasite’?”
Actor Choi Woo Sik met foreigners who recognized him in Mexico.
The recent episode of tvN’s variety show “Jinny’s Kitchen” on March 17th showed Lee Seo Jin, Jung Yoo Mi, Park Seo Joon, Choi Woo Sik, and BTS V busily running their restaurant. The restaurant was crowded with customers, and Choi Woo Sik helped Lee Seo Jin clean up the tables.
That day, a customer looked at Lee Seo Jin and then started searching for something on his phone, saying “I need to check if the person I saw in a Korean drama is him”.
When the customer spotted Choi Woo Sik, he excitedly said, “I think he’s that person”. He continued, “It’s him. He’s Choi, the guy from ‘Parasite’.” Couldn’t believe it, other customers had to search for Choi Woo Sik again to check.
Later, Choi Woo Sik came to their table to serve the food, and the customer asked him, “Are you an actor? Did you appear in ‘Parasite’?”. Embarrassed by the sudden question, Choi Woo Sik replied, “That’s right”. The customers smiled and reacted, “This is crazy”. They poured compliments, saying “‘Parasite’ is such a great movie”.
Meanwhile, tvN’s “Jinny’s Kitchen” is an entertainment program that follows Lee Seo Jin, who has been promoted from a chef in “Youn’s Kitchen” to a restaurant owner, as he sets up and operates his own restaurant in Mexico.
