Yoo Jae-suk, “Jo Se-ho Gave 50,000 Won For My Wedding And Did Not Eat, I’ll Go Double For Him”

Yoo Jae-suk talked about Jo Se-ho’s congratulatory money for his wedding

“You Quiz on the Block” broadcast on December 20th showed 19-year-old girls Kim Ye-hwa and Lee Chae-hyun, who are about to become bank clerks, confessing their concerns as new members of society.

During the broadcast, Kim Ye-hwa mentioned congratulatory money as one of her concerns when stepping out into society. In the past, she only needed to follow her parents, but now, she is going to events under her own name so she doesn’t know how to deal with it.

Yoo Jae-suk said, “People often give 50,000 won as congratulatory money these days. In the case of people close friends, it can be 100,000 won”. 

Jo Se-ho confessed, “When Jae-suk hyung got married, I went to his wedding with 50,000 won and did not eat”. Yoo Jae-suk said, “I’m thankful for your heart”, adding “I got married 10 years ago but he gave me 50,000 won. But I think Jo Se-ho could have spent more than that”, drawing laughter.

Jo Se-ho then explained, “If I had spent more, I wouldn’t have been able to eat anything. I felt so sorry and if I had eaten the steak even though I prepared 50,000 won on the congratulatory money, I would feel very guilty”. Hearing that, Yoo Jae-suk replied, “I’m thankful just with your heart. If Jo Se-ho gets married, I will go with twice as much as that”. Surprised by Yoo Jae-suk’s remark, Jo Se-ho asked back, “100,000 won?”.

Yoo Jae-suk said, “I should go double for Jo Se-ho”. Jo Se-ho then wondered, “But are you coming alone? Sometimes, the whole family comes to the wedding together. Of course, if prince Ji-ho and princess Na-eun come, I will prepare steak”. Yoo Jae-suk responded, “I’ll go alone and don’t say anything”.
