V To Appear In IU’s MV+Jimin, Jungkook To Enlist Together: BTS Gets Ready For The Military

BTS members are and will spend their military life in various ways

BTS members RM, V, Jungkook, and Jimin are reportedly going to join the military this month. Following the enlistment of the eldest member Jin in December last year, j-hope in April and Suga in September, the remaining four members will also join the military.

Before and after enlistment, the members of BTS have been communicating with their fans in their own ways. Jin became a sergeant in a year after two early promotions. Jin also reported the news directly on the group’s official fan community on the afternoon of December 4th, saying, “I am currently a sergeant Kim Seok-jin after one more early promotion due to my outstanding military career.”

After joining the military, Jin earned the special soldier title in July and was promoted to corporal early. He is also receiving encouragement from fans after delivering good news as a sergeant. Despite being a world star, he is serving faithfully in the military.

Members who are about to join the military are also enjoying diverse plans. Jimin and Jungkook will join the military together. Big Hit Music announced follow-up details on members’ enlistment through its official fan community.

Big Hit Music said, “RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook will join the army as active duty soldiers to fulfill their military duty. RM and V will join the army according to their respective procedures, while Jimin and Jungkook will join the army together.” In order to prevent accidents, special events will not be held to farewell the members.

V was working hard right before joining the military. He finished filming a music video for IU’s new song, which she plans to release in the first half of next year. V also appeared on IU’s YouTube content “IU’s Palette” earlier. With this, fans will be able to see V even after he joins the military.
