Justin Bieber explains his serious health problems that led to concert postponement

World-famous pop star Justin Bieber shocked the public when he revealed that his face was paralyzed because of a rare disease.

On June 11th (local time), Justin Bieber revealed through his Instagram that he was diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt syndrome due to the chickenpox-shingles virus infiltrating the cranial nerve, which resulted in facial paralysis.

Bieber said in a video posted to his Instagram, saying, “I have this syndrome called Ramsay Hunt syndrome. It is from this virus that attacks the nerve in my ear and my facial nerves. It has caused my face to have paralysis.

This eye is not blinking. I can’t smile on this side of my face. This nostril will not move. So there’s full paralysis on this side of my face”, Bieber said, pointing to his right face. In the video, Bieber didn’t blink his right eye, and only moved his left lip when speaking.

Bieber has canceled his scheduled concerts due to his facial paralysis. He said, “I’m releasing this for fans who are frustrated that the show has been canceled. This is pretty serious, as you can see. I wish this wasn’t the case, but, obviously, my body’s telling me I’ve got to slow down. I hope you guys understand. I’ll be using this time to just rest and relax and get back to a hundred percent so that I can do what I was born to do.
