“Street Man Fighter” predicted a fierce dance battle even before the first broadcast.
Mnet’s “Street Man Fighter” held a production presentation at the Stanford Hotel in Sangam-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul on the afternoon of August 23rd, predicting a global sensation created by K-dancers.
“Street Man Fighter” is a survival program for male dancers to compete for the title of Street Dance King in Korea. Eight crews, including Mbitious, which was formed through “Be Mbitious,” Bank Two Brothers, EO-DDAE, YGX, 1Million, We Dem Boyz, Just Jerk, and Prime Kingz, will determine the “Dance King” representing Korea with their high-quality performances.
CP Kwon Young-chan said, “We were originally preparing for ‘Street Woman Fighter’ season 2. However, we came back to ‘Street Man Fighter’ because we wanted to show the charm of male dancers that are different from that of female dancers,” he said.
In particular, they will have dance battles with new songs, not existing ones. As for the track for the leader-class mission, “Saffing” created by Zico will be used while the vice-leader class mission will use an original track by Yoon Mi-rae and Bibi.
Producer Kim Na-yeon said, “In ‘Street Woman Fighter‘, ‘Hey Mama’ caused a big sensation, and in ‘Street Man Fighter’, we made new songs because we wanted to make music just for dancers themselves.
Kang Daniel, who also participated in “Street Woman Fighter,” is the MC, and South Korea’s leading idols, Super Junior Eun-hyuk and 2PM Jang Woo-young, who were recognized for their passion and insight into dance, will appear as judges.
