“Comeback after 1 year and 10 months” Will BLACKPINK set a new record again?… Pre-orders begin
Pre-orders for the second full-length album “BORN PINK” of BLACKPINK, which will make a comeback after about a year and 10 months, have begun.
According to YG Entertainment, the physical album of BLACKPINK‘s second full-length album “BORN PINK”, which will be released on September 16th, is prepared in three forms: BOX SET version, KiT album and LP.
The BOX SET version will be released in three different types of component images, and will include a package box, an 80-page photo book, accordion lyrics and a large photo card in a special envelope. In addition, first-time buyers will be given stickers and posters with the album name on them.
The KiT album, which allows you to listen to music on a smart device without a separate driving device, will consist of a photo card set (12 pieces), credit paper and polaroid film (random). The initial album will also include a random pop-up card with BLACKPINK’s image on it.
The LP, which aroused curiosity about the jacket design, will be produced as a limited edition and will be delivered sequentially after December 30th. The limited-edition LP, which has a unique sound texture and analog sensibility of vinyl records, has always been well received by various fan bases due to its high value in possession.
Meanwhile, BLACKPINK’s second full-length album “BORN PINK” is made of FSC (Forest Stewardship Council)’s certified paper, low-carbon eco-friendly paper, soybean oil ink and environmental protection coating. The KiT album used biodegradable plastic (Polylactic acid – PLA). Eco-friendly resins made from raw materials extracted from corn starch were used for packaging plastics and bags.
Pre-orders will be carried out until September 15th. From September 16th, BLACKPINK’s album will be available at online and offline record stores nationwide, including YG Select, Weverse Shop and KTOWN4U. Prior to this, BLACKPINK will release the pre-released song “Pink Venom” and its music video at 1 PM (KST) on August 19th.
