“Be Mbituous”, a prequel to “Street Man Fighter”, heralds breathtaking battles between dancers and idols.
On May 20th, the production team of Mnet’s “Be Mbituous” revealed the pre-release video for the broadcast of its first episode. “Be Mbitious” is a prequel program to forming a complete project dance crew called “Mbitious”, which will compete in the dance competition “Street Man Fighter” to be held this summer.
Numerous main dancers of idol groups applied for “Be Mbituous”, drawing keen attention from other contestants and netizens.
Idol dancers with outstanding dance skills, such as former INFINITE member Hoya, former HOTSHOT member Roh Tae-hyun, Pentagon’s Kino, DKB’s Harry-June, KARD BM, JxR’s Baekjin, ONF’s U, etc., were named in the lineup.
Some dancers acknowledged idol dancers, while others gave negative reactions. Dancer Brother Bin insisted, “We’re people who only dance. But they (idols) do other things apart from dancing.” Dancer Beagle looked down on idols, saying, “I think it’s gonna be so hard for them (idols) to compete against dancers who have been focusing on only dancing.”

Kino expressed his confidence, saying that he didn’t know about other idols ut he had expertise in dance. BM said, “Okay. Just curse us. But do not lose to us”, threatening his rivals. Roh Tae-hyun showed a scary smile and said, “Isn’t it gonna be so interesting? What if idols beat all dancers?”, raising the tension.
“Be Mbituous”, which is expected to give the viewers thrills with battles between dancers and idols, will air the first episode at 10:20 p.m on May 24th.
