“15th debut anniversary” KARA returns as a whole… First group photo revealed

The return of girl group KARA is raising K-pop fans’ interest.

On Oct 20th, through an official press release, RBW announced that KARA (Park Gyu-ri, Han Seung-yeon, Nicole, Kang Ji-young, Heo Young-ji)’s Japanese version album “MOVE AGAIN[Japan Edition]” in commemoration of the 15th debut anniversary would be released on Dec 21st. They also released the first group photo.

Hereby, KARA will release a new album in Japan 6 years after “FOREVER KARA Blu-ray COMPLETE BOX 2010-2015~ALL JAPAN TOURS&CLIPS~”, which was released in Japan in 2016.

In addition, following the release of the new album, KARA plans to hold fan meetings in Fukuoka, Yokohama, etc., starting with Osaka, Japan on Feb 23rd next year, to spend meaningful time with local fans whom they have not met in a long time.

KARA, which officially debuted in Japan in 2010, created a K-pop syndrome by releasing a number of mega-hit songs, starting with the debut single “Mr.”. Aside from occupying the top spot on Oricon’s album and single charts, they also set a series of records such as the “first Korean girl group” to hold a solo concert at Tokyo Dome in Japan, proving their presence as “Hallyu Queen”.

Earlier, KARA announced their comeback as a whole with a new album to commemorate the 15th debut anniversary on Nov 29th, sparking an explosive response. This time, Park Gyu-ri, Han Seung-yeon, Heo Young-ji as well as Nicole and Kang Ji-young, who left the team in 2014, joined hands.

Meanwhile, KARA will release the Japanese version of the album in Japan on Dec 21st, following the domestic release of the 15th debut anniversary album “MOVE AGAIN” on Nov 29th.
