Trustworthy actor Lee Joon-ki took number 1 among Fri-Sat dramas as a refreshing hero in “Again My Life”
“Again My Life” Lee Joon-ki became a refreshing hero.
Lee Joon-ki, who proved his potential as the top actor by melting himself into the role of Kim Hee-woo in the SBS Friday-Saturday drama “Again My Life,” cooled off the early summer heat.
The 7th and 8th episodes show Kim Hee-woo (Lee Joon-ki), a high-level investigator, penetrating the opponent’s lair with extraordinary senses. In order to break down Kim Seok-hoon (Choi Kwang-il), the connecting link of the evil side, he came up with a good idea that he should catch Jang Il-hyun (Kim Hyung-mook), the leader in charge of turning plans into actions, first.
Kim Hee-woo then got a special hunch when Kim Seok-hoon, who does not trust people well, asked him to monitor and report Jeon Seok-kyu (Kim Chul-ki) as if he believed in him. Later, Kim Hee-woo found a wiretapping device installed by Kim Seok-hoon in his office. He then told Jeon Seok-kyu and Ji Sung-ho (Kim Young-jo) to use it against each other, raising expectations for the next development.
In the midst of this, Kim Hee-woo, who found out that Jang Il-hyun was manipulating the truth of the recent murder case to cover up the case involving Mirae Electronics‘ former president, found the real culprit and quickly drove Jang Il-hyun into a corner. When he heard rumors that Jeon Seok-kyu was investigating the corruption of Sung Jin-mi, the chairman of the National University Arts Foundation and Jang Il-hyun‘s girlfriend, he used the wiretapping device properly in anticipation of his visit.
As such, Lee Joon-ki is making use of his unique sense which was given to him in his 2nd life, capturing the weight of the drama with his soft charisma as he sees through the characters’ personalities and behavior patterns while directing “Team Kim Hee-woo.” As the drama develops, the clever lead character is enhanced by Lee Joon-ki‘s detailed emotional lines and strong eye acting, adding to the fun.
The 8th episode of “Again My Life” recorded a rating of 8.8% in the Seoul metropolitan area, 8.6% nationwide, while the highest rating moment of the episode reached 11.3%.
