Asked by Yoshida how she debuted in the entertainment industry, Ishihara said, “I actually wanted to be a radio show host.” She said she had listened to the radio since her senior year of elementary school and had hopes of becoming a radio host. However, Ishihara’s mother told her to concentrate on her studies. As a result, Ishihara made a final attempt to debut in the entertainment industry and was lucky enough to win the Grand Prix.
