Photos uploaded by Kim Sae-ron on Instagram on the day of the end of “Queen of Tears”
Actress Kim Sae-ron is attracting attention by sharing her current status after a long time
On April 29th, Kim Sae-ron uploaded several posts on her Instagram story without any captions.
In the first video, Kim Sae-ron is seen taking a selfie inside a moving car. Other photos show various drawings, presumably done by Kim Sae-ron herself.
In May 2022, Kim Sae-ron caused an accident while driving under the influence in Gangnam District, Seoul. She crashed into several structures including transformers, guard rails and street trees. In the crash, the transformer broke down, and the electricity supply was cut off for about 3 hours at 57 places including nearby shops, causing damage to merchants. At the time, her blood alcohol level was 0.2%, far exceeding the standard for license revocation (0.08%).
Kim Sae-ron, charged with violating traffic laws, was fined 20 million won in the first trial in April last year. Following this incident, Kim Sae-ron temporarily suspended her activities. In early last year, she was also embroiled in controversy after being spotted playing games at a hold’em bar in Seoul.
Recently, she uploaded then deleted a photo of herself cheek-to-cheek with actor Kim Soo-hyun, sparking dating rumors.
Regarding this, Kim Soo-hyun’s agency Gold Medalist stated that the dating rumors are groundless and that they have no idea about Kim Sae-ron’s intentions behind such actions. They also explained that the controversial photo appears to have been taken when the two were under the same agency in the past.
As the controversy arose, Kim Sae-ron said “I’m currently organizing my stance. I’ll deliver my position as soon as I finish organizing my thoughts“, but she did not provide any further statement.
Amid various controversies, it was reported on April 17th that Kim Sae-ron would make a comeback through the play “Dongchimi”. However, this plan was eventually canceled.
Regarding the reason for her departure, Kim Sae-ron’s side cited health reasons, but it is speculated that negative public opinion about her return may have also played a role.
