78-year-old actor Oh Young Soo delivered a shocking performance at the Emmys

Recently, a video of “Squid Game” actor Oh Young Soo break-dancing at the aftermath of the Emmys Awards, became a hot topic. As the actor has only shown a gentle appearance through interviews, many netizens were shocked with this side of him, and showed explosive reactions such as “I thought this was edited”, “I laughed so hard”, “He really ripped the stage apart”, and “There was nobody like him”.

In particular, the 35-second video was published by famous American writer Meena Harris, who uploaded it on her Twitter on September 13th (local time) with the caption, ‘Oh Young So cutting it UP”

The video shows Oh Young Soo, who is surrounded by people, dancing and making intense body waves, and receiving plenty of shouts and applause. Hearing this, Oh Young Soo responded with a bright smile, raising his hand to thank the audience and looking confident. This was apparently filmed at an after-party after the Emmy Awards ceremony ended.

At the 74th Emmy Awards, which was held at Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, USA, Oh Young Soo was nominated for the Best Supporting Actor category thanks to his role in the hit Netflix series “Squid Game”. He unfortunately didn’t win, but “Squid Game” still snagged other wins, with director Hwang Dong Huk receiving the Best Director Award in the Drama Division, and actor Lee Jung Jae receiving the Best Actor Award, also in the Drama Division.

On the other hand, Oh Young Soo’s dance video has surpassed 400,000 views on Twitter alone as of 7:45 am (KST) on September 14th.
