Famous actor in “Country Diaries” under investigation for using lost card

Actor Park Eun-soo, who received much love for his role in the drama “Country Diaries”, is under investigation by the police for using a lost card

According to entertainment media outlet OSEN on Oct 6th, Park Eun-soo was reported to have been investigated by the police in Gyeonggi-do in connection with a case of using a lost card.

Park Eun-soo is suspected of acquiring and using a card that was stuck in a gas station’s card slot recently.

The police reportedly confirmed through CCTV footage that the person who took the card was indeed Park Eun-soo.

If it is determined that he used money or a card found on the street, he could be charged with embezzlement of lost articles.

Besides, according to Article 70 of the Specialized Credit Financial Business Act, those who sell or use lost or stolen credit or debit cards can face imprisonment for up to 7 years or a fine of up to 50 million won.

Park Eun-soo explained to the media, “I didn’t have my own card, so I used my wife’s card, thinking it was hers, but later I found out it belonged to someone else.”

He added, “Afterwards, I reported it to the police and returned all the money I used. I also cooperated with the police investigation.”

Earlier in 2021, Park Eun-soo garnered attention when he appeared on a documentary program, revealing that he was working on a pig farm for a daily wage of 100,000 won.

At that time, he was embroiled in various controversies, including real estate fraud, fraudulent movie production investments and unpaid interior costs, which halted his entertainment career.
