BABYMONSTER Member Tripped and Injured Her Ankle on Stage
The incident left fans concerned during BABYMONSTER's first fan meeting in Tokyo, Japan, on May 11.
Despite being their debut international event, BABYMONSTER impressed with their stage presence, ability to hype up the crowd, and handling of the situation.
Particularly noteworthy was during their performance of “Like That,” when Rora unexpectedly fell on stage, twisting her ankle.
She stumbled backward, clearly in pain, yet managed to maintain her professionalism, quickly getting back on her feet and continuing the show as if nothing had happened.
Online, fans expressed worry for Rora having to remain professional despite her fall, while others praised BABYMONSTER.
Prior to this incident, during their cover of BLACKPINK’s “As If It’s Your Last,” BABYMONSTER faced sound issues with the music cutting off twice unexpectedly.
Ahyeon’s and the other members’ adorable expressions of frustration amused fans. However, they swiftly improvised, singing the song live and showcasing impressive vocals, much to the delight of fans.
