Minji (NewJeans) topped the January Girl Group Personal Brand Reputation Ranking for the first time since her debut
Minji came in first by a close margin with Jennie (BLACKPINK).
On the 15th, the Korea Institute of Corporate Reputation released the 100 rankings of the “January Girl Group Personal Brand Reputation.”
According to the announcement, NewJeans’ Minji came in first while BLACKPINK Jennie landed in second place. Third place belonged to NewJeans’ Hanni whereas BLACKPINK Jisoo came in fourth.
The ranking is the analysis result of 7.998.488 brand big data of 579 girl group members from the 15th of last month to the 15th of this month.
Minji recorded a brand reputation index of 4.899.310 and rose to first place with a narrow gap with Jennie (brand reputation index 4.416.607) in second place and Hanni (brand reputation index 3.933.448) in third.
In addition, Minji rose by 14.81% compared to the brand reputation index of 4.267.230 last month.
Minji debuted with NewJeans in July last year and quickly topped the brand reputation ranking for the first time in about six months, a proof of the group’s heightening popularity.
The Korea Institute of Corporate Reputation said, “NewJeans’ Minji’s brand showed high scores in ‘pure, pretty, and bright’ in link analysis, and ‘OMG, Ditto, Attention’ in keyword analysis was high. In positive negative ratio analysis, the positive ratio was 89.90%.”
The girl group members in the Top 30 include: NewJeans Minji, BLACKPINK Jennie, NewJeans Hanni, BLACKPINK Jisoo, NewJeans Haerin, Girls’ Generation Taeyeon, NewJeans Danielle, NewJeans Hyein, Red Velvet Joy, Twice Nayeon, Twice Mina, Oh My Girl Arin, LE SSERAFIM Chaewon, aespa Winter, LE SSERAFIM Kazuha, BLACKPINK Rosé, Girls’ Generation Yoona, aespa Karina, IVE Liz, Red Velvet Seulgi, EXID Hani, Red Velvet Irene, IVE Gaeul, Red Velvet Wendy, TWICE Dahyun, IVE Yujin, BLACKPINK Lisa, Oh My Girl YooA, (G)I-DLE Miyeon, LE SSERAFIM Huh Yunjin.
