Red Velvet’s Yeri to play a chaebol in upcoming web drama “Cheongdam International High School”

Yeri is confirmed to make an acting comeback in “Cheongdam International High School”.

As reported by Xsports News on November 21st, Red Velvet’s Yeri has confirmed her appearance in WhyNot Media’s new OTT drama “Cheongdam International High School”.

Yeri will play Baek Jena, a third-generation chaebol, a rich kid born with a golden spoon. She is part of the highest class at Cheongdam International High School. Yeri’s character is expected to add to the tension-filled psychological warfare with Kim Hye In (Lee Eun Saem), a witness to the murder case and a transfer student from a poor background. 

Yeri has been loved by many global fans for her lovely and fresh charm through Red Velvet activities since 2015. She has also shown her potential as an actress by imprinting her presence in her first lead role in the web drama “Blue Birthday”, where she appeared under her real name, Kim Yerim.

In “Cheongdam International High School”, Yeri is expected to show her wide spectrum of acting, transforming from her lovable and innocent image to a more mature and intense appearance.

Meanwhile, Red Velvet is about to make a comeback with the new mini album “The ReVe Festival 2022 – Birthday” on November 28th.
