Kim Soo-hyun & Ahn Yu-jin Receive Popularity Award At 2024 Baeksang Arts Award

The Baeksang Arts Awards is taking place at COEX D Hall in Gangnam-gu, Seoul at 5 p.m. on May 7th.

On April 25th, the voting for the Prizm Popularity Award at the 60th Baeksang Arts Awards began on the website and Prizm app of the Baeksang Arts Awards.

There were 35 male and 31 female nominees in TV and Film categories for the Popularity Award. Among them, one male and one female star who received the most votes would become the winners. As a result of the voting, which closed at 2 p.m. on May 4th, the Popularity Award was confirmed to go to Kim Soo-hyun and IVE’s Ahn Yu-jin. 

Kim Soo-hyun, who recently starred in tvN’s popular drama “Queen of Tears”, gained a total of 5,624,530 votes. IVE’s Ahn Yu-jin, who is a cast member of the entertainment program “Earth Arcade”, dominated the female category with 1,258,838 votes.

Following Kim Soo-hyun, “The Childe” Kim Seon-ho came in second. While the second place in the female category went to “Exhuma” Kim Go-eun.

Kim Soo-hyun and Ahn Yu-jin took the stage at the 60th Baeksang Arts Awards and received the trophies for Popularity Award. In particular, Kim Soo-hyun attracted keen attention as this is the first Baeksang appearance in three years.

The 60th Baeksang Arts Awards is broadcast live simultaneously on JTBC, JTBC2, JTBC4 and Prizm. Shin Dong-yeop, Suzy and Park Bo-gum are the MCs.
