Actress Lee Se Young will play the female lead in “The Story of Park’s Marriage Contract”.
An official from the entertainment industry told Sports Chosun on Feb 3rd, “Lee Se Young will appear in ‘The Story of Park’s Marriage Contract’ (written by Go Nam Jung).” “The Story of Park’s Marriage Contract” is based on the webtoon of the same name. It tells the story of a Joseon girl in the 19th century who transcends time and space and comes to modern times.
Lee Se Young will play Park Yeon Woo, a Joseon girl who has always believed that the fated love like in her favorite novel would come to her one day. However, on her first night of the wedding, her husband Tae Ha suddenly passed away. Unfortunately, she did not get to mourn for her husband’s passing as she has been kidnapped and thrown into a well mysteriously. The man who saved her certainly looks the same as her late husband, but this man is from Korea 200 years later.
“The Story of Park’s Marriage Contract” is a work that contains all of Lee Se Young’s “professional fields”. Lee Se Young, who previously showed her perfect strong points in historical dramas with “The Red Sleeve“, immediately showed off her comical and romantic side at the same time through “The Law Cafe“, receiving enthusiastic support from viewers. Thanks to Lee Se Young’s passionate acting, “The Red Sleeve” recorded a rating of over 17% on MBC, and “The Law Cafe” also became a filial drama of KBS last year.
