The Doldam Trauma Center, the long-cherished desire of Kim Sa-bu, will be unveiled soon in “Dr. Romantic 3”.
On April 14th, SBS’ “Dr. Romantic 3” released the second teaser video through its official channel.
In the video, the “Doldam Hospital Emergency Trauma Center”, for which Kim Sa-bu (Han Suk Kyu) drew a big picture from season 1, appeared, raising expectations for a new story in season 3.
The second teaser video started by announcing the “new beginning” of Doldam Hospital.
With Kim Sa-bu’s voice saying “We can’t open the door and finish it. Let’s open the trauma center there”, the trauma center that opens in an emergency situation was revealed.
At the same time, the precarious fate of the trauma center was drawn, adding to the tension. Sharp conflicts over the trauma center were heralded, such as opposition that “You shouldn’t let patients in” and voices of those declaring an all-out war against Kim Sa-bu.
Nevertheless, there was only one reason why Kim Sa-bu wanted to establish a trauma center. He wanted to save equal lives.
Next, the struggles of medical staff trying to save people at the scene of the disaster unfolded.
Seo Woo Jin (Ahn Hyo Seop) looked confused, Cha Eun Jae (Lee Sung Kyung) got motivated while Park Eun Tak (Kim Min Jae) and Park Min Gook (Kim Joo Hun) ran urgently. The phrase “We risked everything” heralded Doldam Hospital people’s desperate performance.
The cast’s acting banquet, which fills the screen thoroughly, also raised expectations for the drama.
In particular, Han Suk Kyu made a strong impression by conveying Kim Sa-bu’s last line. The line “No matter who that person is, what they do or what position they’re in, I’m willing to give my best” and Kim Sa-bu’s serious expression left an impact.

“Dr. Romantic 3” depicts the story of “real doctors” set in the background of Doldam Hospital, a hospital in the countryside. Known as a mega-hit drama of SBS, which recorded the highest viewer rating of 27% for both Season 1 (2016) and Season 2 (2020), “Dr. Romantic” has been receiving explosive attention since it announced its comeback with Season 3 after three years.
