2PM Lee Jun-ho recently held his offline solo fanmeeting “JUNHO THE MOMENT” at Blue Square Mastercard Hall in Yongsan-gu, Seoul for 2 days, January 22nd and 23rd. On January 23rd, an online paid live broadcast was conducted simultaneously through Beyond LIVE platform. Apart from celebrating his upcoming birthday on January 25th, this event is even more meaningful as it was held 3 years after his first solo fanmeeting “THE SPECIAL DAY [Unforgettable Day]” in October 2018.
Lee Jun-ho announced the start of his fanmeeting with a splendid performance of the solo song “Nobody Else”, which everyone had been waiting for. Junho’s fascinating voice and “adult sexiness” heated the atmosphere at the event hall. While trembling, he then delivered his first greeting, saying, “After the intro ended and while singing the first verse of the song, I cried at the moment I looked into the eyes of all the audiences. I was really nervous and excited waiting for this moment, but this is the first time that my emotions have been filled up ever since the beginning of the show. Still, I have done all my best to show a great performance with how much I was proud and greedy for the stage”.
To prove his remark that said, “In order to bring a meaningful time to you, I worked hard to the point that I didn’t eat or sleep well to prepare for this fanmeeting”, various corners, such as balance games, opening unreleased photos, five-letter talk, Q&A, and unexpected missions, were prepared. This showed how much Lee Jun-ho had desired to communicate in closer contact with fans. He then reenacted some of his lines talked about various behind-the-scenes stories about famous scenes in MBC’s drama “The Red Sleeve” (directed by Jung Ji-un, Song Yeon-hwa, written by Jung Hae-ri), capturing the hearts of fans.
In particular, Junho drew enthusiastic responses by showing off the aspect of his nickname “Lee FOX”, which was given to him because he knows which things of him that fans love so well. Actor Song Joong-ki appeared as a surprise guest at the performance on January 22 and boasted the “real friends” chemistry along with Lee Jun-ho. On January 23, Lee Jun-ho’s surprise birthday party was held, leaving one more unforgettable memory to fans around the world.
Lee Jun-ho expressed his feelings full of sincerity, “There’s a story I want to tell you after seeing the slogan ‘Now is Jun-ho’s season’. Thanks to all the moments that you lighted me on my way, for me, every season was mine. There was no moment that wasn’t beautiful because fans were always by my side.
