In addition, actor Jang Hyuk is reportedly reviewing the casting offer to appear in this drama with a positive attitude.
“Family” will be directed by CP Jang Jeong-do, who is the executive producer of tvN’s ongoing series “Our Blues” with an aim of releasing it in 2023.
Meanwhile, Jang Na-ra announced her marriage to a non-celebrity 6 years younger than her through her official website and Instagram account on June 3rd.
At that time, the actress said in her statement, “I will come back with an interesting work right after my wedding. I’m working hard to prepare for it.” Now that with the recent casting announcement, the “interesting work” Jang Na-ra mentioned is likely to be “Family”.
Jang Hyuk and Jang Na-ra used to work together as main characters in SBS’s 2022 drama “Successful Story of a Bright Girl” and MBC’s 2014 drama “Fated to Love You”. In particular, the two received positive responses from the viewers for their funny bed scene in “Fated to Love You”.
If Jang Hyuk agrees to appear in “Family” as the male lead, this will be the two’s third collaboration.
