IU reveals moving poster for comeback + Fans’ reactions

At midnight on January 15th, the agency EDAM Entertainment revealed a 17-second moving poster with the caption “Pre-Release Single ‘Love wins'” through their official SNS channels.

In the moving poster, IU is gazing somewhere against the background of intense red lighting. IU’s surprised expression as well as her sorrowful yet vague gaze and tears immediately capture viewers’ attention. Towards the end, IU’s eyes are enlarged even more, displaying the words “Love wins” along with the date January 24th, creating anticipation and raising curiosity.

Immediately after the release of the moving poster, diverse speculations and enthusiastic reactions from IU’s domestic and international fans have been circulating. Not only on global SNS channels but also through major online communities in Korea, fans left comments such as “IU never disappoints“, “What could ‘Love wins’ possibly mean?” and “Can’t wait for the full version“, showcasing IU’s power once again.

IU’s new song release is even more delightful as it comes about 2 years and 1 month after “Pieces” released on December 29th, 2021. As IU has consistently produced “mega-hit songs” with each album, loved by all ages, there is heightened anticipation for what kind of song she will present this time.

Meanwhile, IU will sequentially release information and commence promotional activities for “Love wins” following the unveiling of this moving poster.
