BTS V has officially surpassed 35 million Instagram followers, showing off the power of the King of social media.
V‘s personal Instagram exceeded 35 million followers on February 18th, 75 days after he launched the account. After BTS members opened individual Instagram accounts on December 6th of last year, V set new certified Guinness World records by reaching 1 million followers and 10 million followers in the shortest time.
V‘s Instagram managed to take 1st place in K-pop Radar’s ‘Top 10 Instagram Follower Annual Growth‘ of 2021 in just one month, and earned the most followers among Korean male celebrities within only 16 days.
V holds the highest record in Instagram’s two most popular indicators, followers and likes. He has been showing off his power as the “Instagram King” by breaking the record for the highest like count as well as the most followers in the shortest period of time.
The photo of his dog ‘Yeontan’ posted by V hit 18 million likes for the first time among Asian celebrities, followed by the photo of V holding flowers. V’s Instagram currently has 8 photos that have received more than 15 million likes, and V’s posts rank 1st, 2nd, and 3rd among most-liked Instagram posts in Asia.
On February 9th, V topped the ‘Mega Influencer‘ ranking announced by ‘Alffy‘ in the 2nd week of February (January 31 – February 7). Alffy selects a mega influencer every week by analyzing the new feeds posted by 30,000 influencers and adding up the total number of posts and total likes during the week. V received 51,69,4935 likes with a total of 5 posts, proving that he is an influencer among influencers.
