Girls’ Generation’s Yoona teases her character’s new job and love interest in “Confidential Assignment 2”

Yoona’s character in the sequel to “Confidential Assignment” went from a sister-in-law who was unemployed to a beauty YouTuber.

At the press conference of the movie “Confidential Assignment 2: International” held in Yeouido, Seoul on August 16th, Girls’ Generation’s Yoona talked about her character. She said, “In the first episode, I played a jobless sister-in-law who was always criticized in the first movie, but I got a new job in this one.”

Director Lee Seok Hoon’s “Confidential Assignment 2: International” reunites North Korean detective Im Chul Ryung (Hyun Bin) and South Korean detective Kang Jin Tae (Yoo Hae Jin). They are joined by New Face’s foreign FBI agent Jack (Daniel Henney) in the unpredictable joint investigation of a global criminal organization.

Yoona, who plays Kang Jin Tae’s sister-in-law Park Min Young, continued, “If I was smitten by Im Chul Ryung in the first movie, this time, I give my heart to a new character, Jack.” She added while laughing, “Min Young just seems to fall for any person in front of her.”

“Confidential Assignment 2: International” is scheduled to hit theaters on September 7th.
