“Queen of Tears” Park Sung-hoon Not a Wealthy Heir, Even Lived “Penniless”? 

After the success of “The Glory” and “Queen of Tears,” Park Sung-hoon‘s name shone brightly thanks to his highly accomplished villainous roles. His profile and personal life also quickly became the focus of public attention.

It was previously rumored that Park Sung-hoon came from a wealthy family. In fact, most members of his family graduated from prestigious law and medical schools, and Park Sung-hoon himself graduated from a famous international school.

I wanted to eat hamburgers but didn’t have money to buy them. So, I just sat on the stairs waiting for my friends to finish eating.” 

“I even lived in a half-basement house like in the movie ‘Parasite’ for 7 years. When I called to announce that I would travel after military discharge, my mother even tried to dissuade me”, Park Sung-hoon ruefully added.

Park Sung-hoon officially debuted in the entertainment industry in 2008 and gradually made a mark, helping to improve his standard of living. He has a cold, handsome face that fits well into villainous roles. However, playing such famous villainous roles has also brought him some “laughable” troubles.

On the show, Park Sung-hoon shared a situation he encountered in a restaurant. The auntie selling food, because she was so immersed in “Queen of Tears,” patted Park Sung-hoon on the back and said, “Leave those two (the main characters) along.” 

At a wrap party for “Queen of Tears,” the actor also said, “Please hate Yoon Eun-sung (his character in the K-drama instead of hating me.” The 39-year-old actor expressed his desire to play a protagonist role because he wants to be loved by the audience.

Meanwhile, Park Sung-hoon was also rumored to be dating co-star Song Hye-hyo from “The Glory.” On November 13th last year, Park Sung-hoon posted a photo of himself embracing Song Hye-kyo affectionately, even captioned the photo with a heart emoji.

However, most viewers believed that Song Hye-hyo and Park Sung-hoon are just close friends in the entertainment industry.
