On the show, host Mi-joo introduced Apink’s method to keep their voice healthy and strong by saying, “For singers whose main job is singing, the most important thing is to protect their voice and take care of their throat. Frequent voice cracking can lead to vocal cords damage. There are situations when they have to take a break from singing from time to time, so some singers have to insure their vocal cords. Singer BoA’s vocal cord insurance is said to cost a whopping 2 billion won, and global star Rain is said to have purchased vocal cord insurance that is worth 10 billion won during his world tour concert alone.”

Apink main vocalist Jung Eun-ji’s throat care methods are salt water gargle, sufficient water intake, and low-pitched training. Jung Eun-ji explained the reason for low-pitched training, “I heard that if you make a solid sound with a low-pitched tone, your high-pitched voice will also go up a lot.”
