“I started drawing after seeing Song Min-ho’s works”… Jeon Hyun-moo reveals his portraits of Kim Sook and Shin Bong-sun
Broadcaster Jeon Hyun-moo appeared as an artist who will be in charge of album cover.
While MBC’s “Hangout with Yoo”, which aired on July 9th, broadcast “WSG Wannabe” Special, a scene where Jeon Hyun-moo revealed his drawings of Kim Sook and Shin Bong-sun drew attention.
On this day, Kim Sook and Shin Bong-sun recruited artists to work on WSG Wannabe’s album cover, and Jeon Hyun-moo appeared as an artist.
As Seesaw team (Yoon Eun-hye, Park Jin-joo, Kota, Jo Hyun-ah) couldn’t hide their surprise, Kim Sook said, “This person really has the characteristics that you think of, but he also has other aspects. One day, he suddenly appears like a comet and turns the art world upside down with his bold colors and realistic brush touches. He’s Jeon-mooSkia”.
Shin Bong-sun said, “I met him as Jeon Hyun-moo but this is the first time he appeared at MooSkia”. Yoon Eun-hye confessed, “I was really surprised because I’ve never heard that he draws.”
Jeon Hyun-moo said, “After Song Min-ho appeared on ‘I Live Alone’ and showed his drawings, I also came up with the thought that I wanted to live a life like that, like I’m into something. I actually know nothing about drawing”. Jo Hyun-ah added, “I also draw. I also got influenced by Song Min-ho and started drawing.”
Jeon Hyun-moo continued, “I’ve done 5 drawings so far. I drew some and gave them to others as gifts, but this is the first time I’ve received a request”. Kim Sook asked, “You’ve never drawn four people at once, right?”.
Jeon Hyun-moo worried, “It might look ridiculous. I don’t know if it looks okay”. Shin Bong-sun said, “You didn’t draw it in a mocking way, did you?”.
Jeon Hyun-moo answered, “I’ve never mocked anyone with my drawings, but everyone said that they felt ridiculed. Hong Hyun-hee was very upset.”
Yoon Eun-hye suggested, “Isn’t the face the center of the drawing? If you draw four people with their full bodies, it might give off a different feeling”. Jeon Hyun-moo jokingly said, “Isn’t it because you’re afraid that your face might look weird?”.
In addition, Kim Sook asked, “Do you have time if I request an album cover?”. Jeon Hyun-moo said, “I’ll do it early in the morning after the schedule. From the perspective of an artist, I don’t know if it can be called a piece of work but I’m proud that my sincerity is 100 points. When I draw someone, I will look at that person for the whole week.”
Jeon Hyun-moo also drew attention as he released his drawings of Kim Sook and Shin Bong-sun.
