Does TWICE flop? The Pre-order album sales will answer for that

Recently, the pre-order album sales of TWICE for “Taste Of Love” has shocked netizens.

In 2018, TWICE released 5th EP named “What Is Love?”. The title song of TWICE’s 5th mini-album named “What Is Love?” won “Song of The Year” award on Mnet Asian Music Awards in 2018. This hit song made the girl group become the first Kpop girl group won “Song Of The Year” Award in 3 consecutive years.

Latetly, TWICE announced they will release a new album named “Taste Of Love”. Immediately, fans were attracted by the title of the album and believe that this is a sequel to “What Is Love?”. After TWICE announced the album, fans immediately pre-ordered this 10th mini album. 

Until now, the album “Taste Of Love” has already surpassed pre-order 530.000 sales and became the highest pre-ordered album of JYP artists. The 2nd album belongs to “More and more” also by TWICE. 

“Taste Of Love” is also the highest pre-ordered album of TWICE and became TWICE’s 3rd album which reached over 500.000 copies. Until now, TWICE still is the best selling Kpop girl group of all time with more than 10 million copies sold. Consequently, TWICE is also the first Kpop girl group that was certified Platinum by Recording Industry Association of Japan for both album and CD in the same year.
