Rowoon Recalled Experience of Playing a Gay Couple with Ahn Hyo-seop
Singer and actor Rowoon recently mentioned his experience of playing a gay couple with fellow actor Ahn Hyo-seop.
On April 25, a video featuring idol-actor Rowoon as a special guest was uploaded on the YouTube channel “Jo Hyun-ah’s Thursday Night”.
Here, while discussing his work, Rowoon mistakenly referred to “simultaneous broadcasting” as “same-sex”. In response, Jo Hyun Ah commented, “Same-sex dramas suit you well.”
Last September, in the drama “A Time Called You”, which was released on Netflix, Rowoon made a special appearance, playing gay couple with fellow actor Ahn Hyo-seop. The drama is based on the Taiwanese drama “Someday or One Day”.
According to Rowoon, when Ahn Hyo-seop suggested Rowoon make a special appearance as his gay lover, Rowoon coolly agreed.
Then, upon hearing Jo Hyun-ah’s question about whether they kissed, Rowoon replied, “We just held hands, and that’s it.”
When asked about the feeling of holding hands with Ahn Hyo-seop, Rowoon revealed, “It was very annoying, and we both felt that way. There was a scene where we had a conversation on the rooftop, and I didn’t like being focused on.”
Then, when asked if it was difficult to see Ahn Hyo-seop as a lover, Rowoon filled his glass with alcohol and smiled.
“Since he’s a friend I like, it’s meaningful to make a special appearance in a work he’s working hard on”, the idol-actor eventually replied.
