Amid HYBE’s Civil War, ILLIT’s Wonhee Ranked 3rd In Idol Brand Chart, Following Cha Eun-woo And BLACKPINK’s Jennie

As a result of big data analysis in April 2024, ILLIT’s Wonhee ranked third in the idol individual brand ranking.

For the analysis of idol individual brand reputation, the Korean Business Research Institute measured big data of 1,730 idol personal brands from March 25, 2024 to April 25, 2024.

The TOP 30 of April individual idol brand reputation rankings are ASTRO’s Cha Eun-woo, BLACKPINK’s Jennie, ILLIT’s Wonhee, Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon, EXO’s Baekhyun, ILLIT’s Minju, BTS’s Jimin, BLACKPINK’s Lisa, BLACKPINK’s Rosé, RIIZE’s Wonbin, Apink’s Yoon Bo-mi, ILLIT’s Mocha, Red Velvet’s Seulgi, Wanna One’s Kang Daniel, ILLIT’s Yunah, ILLIT’s Iroha, BTS’s Jin, Red Velvet’s Yeri, BLACKPINK’s Jisoo, BTS’s Jungkook, Red Velvet’s Wendy, BTS’s V, BTS’s j-hope, Girls’ Generation’s Yoona, Super Junior’s Donghae, Super Junior’s Kyuhyun, BTS’s RM, Oh My Girl’s Yooa, Red Velvet’s Joy, and NewJeans’ Minji.

ASTRO’s Cha Eun-woo brand, which topped the list, was analyzed to have a brand reputation index of 3,891,140. Compared to the brand reputation index of 5,041,728 in March, it decreased by 22.82%. The second place was analyzed to be BLACKPINK’s Jennie brand with a brand reputation index of 3,473,456. The third place was ILLIT’s Wonhee brand with the reputation index of 3,064,663. Wonhee is drawing attention for her high ranking despite her company HYBE is in an internal crisis.

Koo Chang-hwan, director of the Korean Enterprise Research Institute, said, “ASTRO’s Cha Eun-woo brand, which ranked first in the idol’s individual brand reputation in April 2024, was highly evaluated as ‘Performance, Perfect, Happy’ in the link analysis, while ‘Fancon, Just One Ten Minutes, and Wonderful World’ in the keyword analysis. In the positive and negative ratio analysis, the positive ratio of big data was 89.57%.”

Meanwhile, HYBE, ILLIT’s company, is being wrapped around controversy after it accused ADOR’s CEO, Min Hee-jin, of trying to take over the label’s management right.
