This male celebrity visited a university festival to see the stage of ITZY… Who are they?
Recently, while the festival was in full swing at Hanyang University, a notable event took place. In particular, despite not being officially invited, a male entertainer was caught attending the Hanyang University festival to watch the performance of girl group ITZY.
In the end, this entertainer, who caught the eye of the MC, was called to the stage and sang on the spot, cheering up his fans.
This happened at the Hanyang University Festival on October 6th, which was attended by ITZY, who presented a splendid stage.
Here, the group sang their hit “WANNABE” passionately and pulled off their sharp choreography, quickly heating up the atmosphere of the site.
After the performance, the MC who was hosting the festival suddenly received the news that comedian Kim Tae Gyun personally visited Hanyang.
He then urged the male celebrity to come on stage, saying, “Kim Tae Gyun seems to have come to the festival. I’ll take you to the stage for a while.”
Despite the sudden invitation, Kim Tae Gyun did not panic on stage, and communicated with the students at the festival by giving greetings cheerfully.
“The reason I came here is that my son is 17 years old and he’s a big fan of ITZY. Dad can’t help it. I was passing by and I had to come here with my son. Thanks to my son, I became a fan of ITZY”, the comedian explained.
The MC then asked Kim Tae Gyun to sing a song on the spot, to which the comedian said, “There is a song that everyone can sing along to”, and started singing.
After the song, Kim Tae Gyun called his son to the stage and took a commemorative photo with the festival scene in the background.
He also promised to invite Hanyang University students who wanted to attend the radio show “Two O’Clock Escape Cultwo Show”.
On the other hand, Kim Tae Gyun made his debut as a comedian in the 5th MBC recruitment program in 1994 and worked as a Cultwo member together with comedian Jeong Chan Woo.
He has been active as a co-DJ on the radio show “Two O’Clock Escape: Cultwo Show” with Jung Chan Woo Jung, but is currently running it alone due to Jung Chan Woo taking a break for health reasons.
