This is Big Hit Music.

We would like to update you on the legal situation undertaken to protect the rights of BTS members.

We want to clarify that recent allegations regarding sajaegi marketing (chart manipulation), concept plagiarism, and involvement with Dahnworld or any other religion are not true.

The company believes that recently, the spread of false rumors and misinformation related to artists has become excessive. Therefore, the company has appointed a law firm to address these issues decisively.

Accordingly, they have identified and compiled several posts containing misinformation intended to defame, slander artists and have filed the first criminal complaint with the authorities today, May 2nd. This list includes systematically posted articles subsequently deleted as well as posts from authors who have deleted their accounts. We will continue our legal actions through continuous monitoring and evidence collection.

We will maintain a zero-tolerance policy for civil and criminal complaints against individuals attempting to tarnish the reputation of our artists by spreading false information with malicious intent. We will not offer any leniency or reconciliation, ensuring that the offenders will be duly punished without exception.

We sincerely apologize to BTS fans for the difficulties you have experienced in recent weeks. We are committed to taking all necessary actions to protect the rights of artists. Thank you for your unwavering love and support for BTS.”
