2024 GDA: NewJeans & LE SSERAFIM Digital Bonsang, Min Hee-jin “Best Producer”

On January 6, the 38th Golden Disc Awards (hereinafter referred to as “2024 GDA”) was held at the Jakarta International Stadium in Indonesia.

Here, NewJeans and LE SSERAFIM were awarded the Digital Bonsang. (an award for best artists in terms of digital achievements).


After receiving the trophy, NewJeans expressed their gratitude, saying, “We’re thankful for receiving such a great award from the first one. Thank you, Bunnies (fandom name).”

Meanwhile, LE SSERAFIM also shared their feelings, stating, “We received the Best New Artist award last year, and now we’ve received the Digital Bonsang. It’s meaningful, and we are thankful for the love for our music.”

On the other hand, Min Hee-jin, the CEO who created NewJeans, won the Best Producer Award at the 2024 GDA. She expressed her gratitude, saying, “Thank you so much. Actually, I came here not to receive an award today but to express my gratitude. NewJeans debuted about 1 year and 5 months ago, and they received so much love. I wanted to express my gratitude to Bunnies, who have been a great strength for us during difficult times. I couldn’t say this to each of you, so I wanted to say it in a public place like this.”


“There will be new challenges and journeys for NewJeans in 2024”, she also said, adding, “Please look forward to them and support us a lot.”

The 2024 GDA is attended by various artists, including NewJeans, LE SSERAFIM, La Poem, YG, SEVENTEEN, Parc Jae-jung, Stray Kids, IVE, ZeroBaseOne (ZB1), and Tomorrow X Together (TXT), among others.

Here, YB and LE SSERAFIM prepared a collaboration stage, and La Poem presented a K-pop hit song medley. MCs Sung Si-kyung and Cha Eun-woo also enriched the Golden Disk Awards with their duet performance.

Additionally, Ha Jung-woo and Lee Jun-ho attended as the award presenters.
