“You Quiz on the Block”, which has recently been involved in several controversies, received good news
tvN’s entertainment program “You Quiz on the Block” (hereinafter referred to as “You Quiz”) has become the TV program that Koreans liked the most in April.
Gallup Korea announced the results of a survey on “Koreans’ Favorite TV Programs in April” on April 26th. Accordingly, “You Quiz” beat No.2 KBS2’s “Love Twist” and No.3 KBS1’s “The King of Tears, Lee Bang-won” to rank No.1 in the list. The survey was conducted on 1,000 people nationwide aged 18 or older from the 19th to the 21st with a 95% confidence level with ±3.1% error. The response rate was 10.4%.
“You Quiz” recorded a preference rate of 6.1%, boasting big gaps with “Love Twist” (4.1%), “The King of Tears, Lee Bang-won” (3.0%), “Hangout with Yoo” (3.0%), and “It’s Beautiful Now” (2.5%). It also became the second program to rank first place in this chart, following “New Journey to the West”, drawing keen attention.
In the early days of “You Quiz”, the two MCs Yoo Jae-seok and Jo Se-ho would go out to meet random casts on the street. However, due to the Covid-10 pandemic, the format of the show was changed, and now, they invite people in different occupations and interview them in the studio.
