“Queen of Tears” Villain Park Sung-hoon, “I’m Working Like A Cow But It’s Not About Money”

Actor Park Sung-hoon is constantly working hard without a vacation.

Park Sung-hoon debuted in 2008 with a minor role in the movie “A Frozen Flower,” and has been building filmography step by step, moving back and forth between the small and big screen. Park Sung-hoon captured the weekend’s small screen with KBS 2TV “My Only One,” became known as the school violence perpetrator Jeon Jae-joon in Netflix’s “The Glory,” and made another strong impression as ruthless villain Yoon Eun-sung in tvN’s “Queen of Tears,” which recently ended in popularity. Park Sung-hoon has been doing more than one production every year and is now working hard on filming the world’s anticipated Netflix “Squid Game” Season 2 and the movie “Night Heat.”

In a recent interview with MyDaily at BH Entertainment’s office building in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, Park laughed about working hard without a break, saying, “It’s good to make a lot of money, but it is actually because I tend to be anxious about resting, not because of money. And I don’t have a hobby, so I don’t know how to rest. I am the kind of person who always needs to have something to focus on. It gives me a sense of accomplishment and joy and I also have a lot of things to gain and solve while working, so I keep working nonstop.”

Regarding taking care of hia health for non-stop activities, Park shared, “I used to take vitamins, but it’s been a long time since I last took them. I usually go to exercise when I don’t have to film,” adding, “I used to like going to a sauna, but it’s a little hard to go recently because more people recognize me than I thought. I’m relaxing my rigid body and mind a little by turning on YouTube.”
