Yoo Jae Suk meets his college friend Jeon Do Yeon again after 30 years on “You Quiz on the Block”
Actress Jeon Do Yeon appears on tvN’s program “You Quiz on the Block” hosted by her college friend Yoo Jae Suk.
At the end of the “You Quiz on the Block” broadcast on March 22nd, a preview video featuring actress Jeon Do Yeon was released. Yoo Jae Suk introduced Jeon Do Yeon, saying “She’s an actress loved by many people around the world and my college friend”.
When Yoo Jae Suk commented, “I heard you said you weren’t close to me in a recent interview”, Jeon Do Yeon asked, “But were we really close?”, drawing laughter.

He also mentioned the legendary friendship trip of ‘HwangJoJi (Hwang Jung Min, Jo Seung Woo, Ji Jin Hee)’ because the photo of the three taken with Jeon Do Yeon once became a hot topic online. Jeon Do Yeon explained, “They were all rookies, but I wasn’t. I went there and bought some food for them. We enjoyed the meal together…”
The actress also talked about winning Best Actress at Cannes, saying, “People thought it was the peak of my career, but I didn’t think so. As an actress, I want to use all my energy and everything I have to challenge new peaks every time.”
Earlier, Yoo Jae Suk made headlines when he mentioned Jeon Do Yeon during his acceptance speech at the 56th Baeksang Arts Awards in 2020. The two, who were college friends, had not contacted each other for the past 30 years.
At the time, Yoo Jae Suk said, “So many familiar faces are presenting here. I was very happy to see Hee Ae noona, Hye Soo noona, and many others. Especially Jeon Do Yeon, my college friend. I haven’t seen her for a long time, so I said, ‘Do Yeon ah! Long time no see’, and Do Yeon replied, ‘Me too’.
