We happened to look into “Pomnyun Sunim’s Day”… This “tall” actor is quite familiar

Actor Jo In-sung delivered a surprise update with Pomnyun Sunim at Bulguksa Temple in Gyeongju, Gyeongsangbuk-do.

In the post, they said, “Today, Pomnyun Sunim welcomed a guest. After early morning prayer and meditation, we headed to Bulguksa Temple with actor Jo In-sung and drama writer Noh Hee-kyung. Pomnyun Sunim especially arranged time since Jo In-sung said he had never heard a detailed explanation of Bulguksa Temple.”

Jo In-sung and Noh Hee-kyung toured Dabotap and Seokgatap in turn with the explanation of Pomnyun Sunim. Jo In-sung shared, “This is the first time I’ve heard such a detailed explanation of Bulguksa Temple. Thank you.”

While looking around Bunhwangsa and Hwangnyongsa, Pomnyun Sunim pointed to a Buddha statue in Bogwangjeon Hall and confessed, “This Bunhwangsa is the temple where I became a monk. I’ve been living in the temple since I was a sophomore in high school, but I had a hard time living in the temple because I was still young. My teacher was very strict. There was nowhere to hide and rest in the temple. So I went to sleep behind that Buddha statue secretly.”

Jo In-sung asked back, “Did you ever have such a time?” Pomnyun Sunim replied briefly, “It’s hard, what should I do?”

One netizen who heard the news caused laughter by joking on Twitter, “Why did you reveal your recent status through Pomnyun Sunim…”

Jo In-sung was active on tvN’s “Unexpected Business 2“, which recently ended. Jo In-sung, who received kimchi made at the temple by Pomnyun Sunim as a gift, served it to customers who ate at a store run by “Unexpected Business 2”.

He will soon meet viewers with Disney+’s original series “Moving”.
