3 years after Wanna One disbanded, fans get goosebumps watching their reunion stage.
Today (December 11), the 2021 Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA 2021) officially took place at CJ ENM Contents Studio, Paju, Korea. This year’s MAMA is hosted by a female host for the first time, Lee Hyori, with the attendance of popular artists such as NCT, aespa, Stray Kids, ITZY, TXT, Tiffany Young, Street Woman Fighter, ENHYPEN, ATEEZ,... Notably, a special performance that many fans were looking forward to is Wanna One’s reunion stage.
Originally a project group that was formed by Mnet’s Produce 101 season 2, less than 2 years after their debut, Wanna One disbanded in early 2019. At this year’s MAMA, Wanna One had a reunion stage by performing 3 songs Energetic, Burn It Up and Beautiful (Part III). The group opened their stage with Spring Breeze intro, followed by the performance of their debut song Energetic.
After Energetic, Wanna One continued to heat up the stage with Burn It Up. Combined with beautiful fireworks and the members’ explosive energy, Wanna One’s reunion performance after 3 years gives viewers goosebumps.
Finally, the most special performance was Beautiful. Beautiful (Part III) is a brand new version of the group’s hit song. With confetti, Wanna One‘s stage ended in regret.
