Fans of Korean dramas are looking forward to the following series the most.

Many Korean dramas that are currently on air are getting a huge amount of attention because of the fun storylines. Since September is coming to an end and October is getting closer, viewers will soon get to watch new series that promise to be equally good and even better. In particular, this October also marks the impressive comebacks of Korea’s A-list actresses, Jun Ji Hyun, Go Hyun Jung and Lee Young Ae. The competition will surely be more exciting than ever.

The King’s Affection: Park Eun Bin, Rowoon

The historical drama takes place in a fictional Joseon dynasty. A princess, who is a member of the royal family but has no identity because when she was born, she was taken out of the palace otherwise it would not survive.  After a few years, the girl is brought back to the palace by her mother and is raised under the identity of her late twin brother. She later becomes Crown Prince Lee Hwi. Because she disguises as a man, she tries to stay away from everyone. However, she gradually develops feelings for a man from a noble family background named Jung Ji Woon, who is also her teacher, causing many awkward situations.

The first reason why many viewers are looking forward to The King’s Affection is because of the unique storyline. Although the trope of a female character disguised as a male is no longer uncommon in Korean dramas, since the drama tells the story of a princess disguised as a crown prince, it turns into something quite special. Moreover, the leads played by two young actors Park Eun Bin and Rowoon make the viewers more curious. The drama will officially air on KBS in the weekly Mon-Fri time slot starting from October 11.

Reflection Of You: Go Hyun Jung, Choi Won Young, Shin Hyun Bin

The upcoming drama marks the comeback of the veteran actress Go Hyun Jung after 2 years. The drama tells the story of Jung Hee Joo (Go Hyun Jung), a woman who goes through a poor and tough youth, with a great ambition to become a successful painter and essayist. Later, Hee Joo meets and changes the whole life of Goo Hae Won (Shin Hyun Bin), an art teacher lacking in everything but is always full of life.

Go Hyun Jung shows a perfect “transformation” with this role. Shin Hyun Bin also shows a totally different image from her role of doctor Jung Gyul Ul in “Hospital Playlist”. These two actresses are expected to bring a fascinating and emotional drama. Reflection Of You will be broadcast on the cable network jTBC from October 13 in the weekly Thursday-Friday evening time slot.

My Name: Han So Hee, Ahn Bo Hyun

After Nevertheless, this October, Han So Hee will come back in a new Netflix series called My Name. The series revolves around Yoon Ji Woo (Han So Hee), a girl who lost her father. Because she wants to seek revenge, she follows the direction of a crime boss to enter the police force as an undercover agent.  Unexpectedly, after joining the police, she unexpectedly develops feelings for the police officer Jeon Pil Do (Ahn Bo Hyun).

This is the next Netflix original series, which is expected to be a gripping drama with a lot of strong action scenes and intense details. Han So Hee’s spectacular image change has already become the focus of attention. Viewers are looking forward to seeing how she plays the female lead role. Jirisan: Jun Ji Hyun, Joo Ji Hoon

Inspector Koo: Lee Young Ae, Kim Hye Jun

The last but not to be missed is the drama ‘Inspector Koo’ marking the return of Lee Young Ae. The drama is a remake of the BBC’s ‘Chasing Eve’ series with the story of a female detective named Koo Kyung Yi, who was a police officer and now an insurance investigator, she is both addicted to games and drinking but enjoys playing games. investigating major crimes. And the work will follow Koo Kyung Yi to solve suspicious cases disguised as accidents.
