The Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute has unveiled its results for male idol individual brand reputation rankings of December.
According to an announcement published on December 17th by the Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute, BTS Jungkook took first place in the December male idol individual brand reputation ranking.
After analyzing brand big data of 703 male idols from November 17th to December 17th, the Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute revealed that BTS Jimin landed in 3rd place, former WANNA ONE Kang Daniel came in 2nd, while 1st place belongs to BTS Jungkook.
The brand reputation index is an index created through brand big data analysis based on the finding that consumers’ online habits have a great influence on brand consumption. By analyzing the personal brand reputation of individual male idols, it is possible to measure the positive and negative responses to their brands, the degree of media interest, and the amount of consumer interest and communication.
Koo Chang Hwan, director of the Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute, revealed that the top link analysis for BTS Jungkook is “perform”, “record”, and “warm”, while his top keywords include “World Cup”, “Billboard”, and “Dreamers”
Previously, on November 20th, Jungkook performed at the opening ceremony of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar as a soloist. His song, “Dreamers”, which is an official theme song for this year’s world cup, has managed to touch the hearts of people from all over the world.
In December’s brand reputation ranking, Jungkook assumed first place by a landslide. In particular, the BTS member recorded a brand reputation index of 10,364,722 this month, which increased by 79.89% compared to last month (5,761,641). Meanwhile, Kang Daniel, who came in 2nd place, gained a brand reputation index of 5,942,367 this month, down 0.66% compared to last month (5,903,575).
