The ratings of “Tomorrow” dropped sharply.

According to Nielsen Korea on April 3rd, episode 2 of MBC’s Friday-Saturday drama “Tomorrow“, which aired on April 2nd, recorded an average rating of 3.4% based on households nationwide. This was significantly lower than the 7.6% recorded in the first broadcast. More than half of episode 1’s ratings evaporated.

After the broadcast, netizens’ responses on various SNS and online communities were mixed. Meanwhile, episode 2 depicted the struggle between leader of crisis management team Goo-ryeon (Kim Hee-sun) and contract employee Choi Joon-woong (Rowoon) to save Noh Eun-bi (Jo In), a victim of school violence who was driven to death.

“Tomorrow” is an office human fantasy drama about the story of the grim reapers who guide the dead to save the people who want to die. It is based on the webtoon of the same name. Actress Kim Hee-sun was cast as the main character and drew attention even before the drama’s airing by showing an amazing synchronization with the original character.
