My Liberation Notes” is a rare K-drama that started with a staggering low viewership rating, only to improve exponentially later on. The series is truly a dark horse, and all cast members managed to bring their characters to life. But, what happens to them after the series’ finale?

On top of all that, the actor is also filming for the Disney+ K-drama “Casino”, and his movie “The Roundup” just released on May 18th in Korea. It seems that Son Seok Gu is packed and busy even without “My Liberation Notes”.

Kim Ji Won

After months of being the somber, directionless, and poor female lead Yeom Mi Jeong of “My Liberation Notes”, Kim Ji Won has truly proven herself as a capable actress with good taste in K-dramas. Right after the series, the actress appeared in the pictorial with the magazine “Big Issue”, where her image completely transformed with a chic blunt bang.

Lee El

Despite receiving the least attention among the main cast of “My Liberation Notes”, Lee El’s portrayal of the oldest Yeom sibling has drawn much praise. She may be less noticed than Lee Min Ki and Kim Ji Won, but Lee El’s acting has successfully made viewers sympathize with her character and left a good impression.

After filming for “My Liberation Notes” was over, Lee El became a guest on the variety show “Take Care Of Me This Week” hosted by Sung Dong Il and Go Chang Seok.  During the show, Lee El revealed that now that she has finished “My Liberation Notes”, she would rest for a while and enjoy her single life.
