Son Dam-bi talked about the type of projects she wants to try, saying, “I used to really like romance works before. She continued, “When I see action scenes or villain roles, I think, ‘I could do it properly once.’ I fundamentally like action, and I’ve never played a villain. For example, there is Lim Ji-yeon’s version of the villain in ‘The Glory’. What if I did it in my version? I think about that kind of thing from time to time. I seem to be drawn to that side a lot.”
Since KBS2’s “When the Camellia Blooms” aired in 2019, Son Dam-bi has been inactive in acting. She expressed confidence, “Directors, I can do action and villain roles really well.“
In particular, she added, “I used to receive a lot of love calls for villain roles. At that time, I thought I shouldn’t chase that image, so I never played a villain. But now, I think the time has come. In 2024, please send love calls to me.”
