“Queen of Tears” Ending Spoilers: Hyun-woo Took A Bullet For Hae-in, Yoon Eun-sung Died, HE
Kim Soo-hyun took a bullet for Kim Ji-won in the last episode of “Queen of Tears.”
In the final episode of tvN’s Saturday-Sunday drama “Queen of Tears,” which aired on April 28th, Baek Hyun-woo (played by Kim Soo-hyun) was shot down while he tried to cover for Hong Hae-in (Kim Ji-won).
In this episode, Baek Hyun-woo went out to rescue Hong Hae-in, who was kidnapped by Yoon Eun-sung (Park Sung-hoon) despite his fractured rib after the car accident caused by Yoon.
As soon as the two were on the run, Yoon found them. He told Hong, “It’s okay. It’s not late. Hae-in, let’s go. Huh?” and Hong replied, “Please wake up. I will never go with you even if I have to die.” Yoon said, “Really? Even if you die? Really?” Police officers arrived just in time, and Yoon pointed his gun at Hong, saying, “I’m sorry, Hae-in. I can’t leave you here. I’m going to take you. Even if I have to kill you,” and shot her.
However, Baek Hyun-woo covered Hae-in and was shot instead, while Yoon Eun-sung was shot dead by the police. Baek was taken to a hospital with serious injuries but survived.
In the end, he proposed to Hong, the two got married again and had one daughter. They lived happily together until Hong passed away due to old age at 84.
