“Queen of Tears” after-show party to be held on April 27th “Kim Ji-won and Kim Soo-hyun are adjusting schedules to attend”

The team of tvN's hit drama "Queen of Tears" will hold an after-show party on April 27th

On April 24th, an official from tvN’s Saturday-Sunday drama “Queen of Tears” (written by Park Ji-eun, directed by Jang Young-woo and Kim Hee-won) told Newsen, “On April 27th, the staff and actors of ‘Queen of Tears’ who are available will gather for a dinner party.” The venue for the after-show party was not disclosed.

Previously, the “Queen of Tears” team held an after-show party once after completing filming in February. They are planning to gather again before the end of the drama (on April 28th) to comfort and encourage each other for their hard work. Actors Kim Ji-won and Kim Soo-hyun, who shone in the drama, are in the process of adjusting their schedules to attend the after-show party.

“Queen of Tears” depicts the dizzying crisis and miraculous rekindling of love between Hong Hae-in (played by Kim Ji-won), a third-generation chaebol heiress of Queens Group, and Baek Hyun-woo (played by Kim Soo-hyun), the son of farmers from Yongdu-ri, and their three years of marriage.

Receiving rave reviews for the actors’ outstanding performances and the directors’ directing skills, “Queen of Tears” broke its own highest viewership rating for 7 consecutive weeks, secured the top spot during its time slot in all channels and recorded a viewership rating of 21% (based on Nielsen Korea, nationwide paid households).
