“Extraordinary Attorney Woo” Park Eun-bin♥Kang Tae-oh, breaking up before dating? → “Divorced” Kang Ki-young collapsed

Kang Ki-young collapsed.

In ENA’s Wednesday-Thursday drama “Extraordinary Attorney Woo“, which aired on the evening of August 10th, Woo Young-woo (Park Eun-bin) and Lee Joon-ho (Kang Tae-oh) ran into a realistic problem of love between the disabled and the non-disabled.

On this day, Woo Young-woo was in charge of a lawsuit claiming the return of unfair profits for the collection of cultural heritage admission fees. The admission fee was 3,000 won and the lawsuit cost was higher, but the client commissioned the case, saying, “It’s not convincing. I don’t care what the cost is.” Jung Myung-seok (Kang Ki-young), who received medical treatment after vomiting blood last time, said “Let’s go together” at Young-woo’s suggestion of a business trip to Jeju Island.

“Hanbada team” including Young-woo, Myung-seok, Choi Soo-yeon (Ha Yoon-kyung), Kwon Min-woo (Joo Jong-hyuk), Lee Joon-ho as well as Dong Geu-ra-mi (Joo Hyun-young) and Kim Min-shik (Im Sung-jae) all left for Jeju Island together. In particular, Myung-seok showed excitement by wearing a Hawaiian shirt and being greedy for a sports car. He secretly wiped away tears at Jeju Island’s beautiful scenery.

The ticket office of Hwangjisa Temple, located on a roadside far from the tourist destination, claimed “legal collection according to the Cultural Heritage Protection Act” and collected admission fees from Hanbada team members, who said they had no intention of inspection. They directly visited Hwangjisa Temple after the trial. The chief priest, who showed the treasure in the box, said, “We take it out once a year for preservation. What you see isn’t everything. Please think about the essence beyond what you see.”

Seeing his hardworking juniors who were only working even after they came all the way to Jeju Island, Myung-seok said, “Why don’t we just hang out?”. Min-woo confessed his family’s situation to Soo-yeon, who often felt confused since she came to Jeju Island. Calling Soo-yeon, whose father is a Supreme Court Justice, “Princess”, Min-woo said, “I thought I’d have more freedom until I hit about 30, you know? But my parents’ health won’t allow me that freedom. I really have to make a lot of money. I’m the breadwinner of my family. I’m not acting like a grown-up. I am a grown-up”, revealing the burden of his life.

Myung-seok, who expressed his special feelings for Jeju Island throughout the business trip, said, “I got married when I was 30 but divorced 8 years later”. Recalling his honeymoon in Jeju Island, he said, “We went to Jeju because of my job”. “I wonder why I lived like that”, he regretted ignoring the precious time with his wife Ji-su (Lee Yoon-ji) while clinging to his work. That was the reason why he expressed his regret about the closing of “Haengbok Noodles”, the place of memories with his wife. Later, Myung-seok collapsed in court during the trial because of cold sweat.

Jun-ho visited his older sister’s family together with Young-woo. Young-woo tried to be active and energetic at the advice of Dong Geu-ra-mi. While Young-woo was away for a while, Jun-ho’s sister pointed out the way Jun-ho called Young-woo “Attorney Woo” using honorifics, saying “You’re in such a difficult relationship. I’m your sister and I’m upset about it. We just want you to be happy”, adding “You should bring home a girl who can make you happy. Not someone you have to take care of. Don’t tell our parents if you’re not going to marry her”. However, Young-woo heard everything that Jun-ho’s sister said.

Meanwhile, in the teaser for the next episode, Young-woo said, “Am I someone who can make Jun-ho happy? I don’t think you and I should date”, raising the viewers’ curiosity about the future development of the two.
