Lee Young-ae Mentioned BTS, TXT, and NCT, Selected Her “Peak Beauty” Work
Top actress Lee Young-ae revealed various tidbits about herself in a recent interview
On November 29, a video featuring Lee Young-ae was released on the official YouTube channel of fashion magazine Elle Korea.
In the video, when asked if she would want to become an actress again if she were born again, Lee Young-ae laughed and replied that alongside acting, she also wants to try singing and being an idol, or something like a singer-songwriter.
The actress then selected historical drama “Dae Jang Geum” as the work that represents the peak of her beauty, saying, “At that time, I was thirty-three. I was worried a lot about my appearance back then, and because there were so many crying scenes, my face was swollen a lot, and it was a very busy time when I couldn’t even take care of my skin. I almost gave up on my appearance and focused only on acting.”
“Looking at it now, I was beautiful back then. At that time, I didn’t even do monitoring, but now, at my age, I think I was so beautiful. Why did I worry about my appearance back then?”, Lee Young-ae added.
As a mother of two children, Lee Young-ae also mentioned idols that her children like.
“My son Seungbin likes BTS and Tomorrow X Together (TXT). We’re planning to attend a concert together this time. I like both teams. Through Seungbin, I also got to know NCT”, the actress said, adding, “I know all the songs of TXT and NCT. I think Korea’s K-POP is amazing.”
Finally, regarding her hairstyle preference between long hair and short hair, Lee Young-ae chose long hair, revealing that her daughter said she looks better with long hair.
