Lee Hi’s life and career takes a turn for the better after YG: The singer shows a respectful attitude to her old company, nevertheless

After leaving YG, Lee Hi moved to her new home, AOMG Entertainment, the agency of famous singers and producers such as Gray, Simon Dominic, Loco and Yugyeom (GOT7). She continues thriving as a solo artist.

At her new company, Lee Hi has more creative control over her work. She maintains a consistent musical release and has garnered formidable achievements as well as more time to interact with her fans. Despite a seemingly better environment to prospect, Lee Hi still reserves a respectful attitude for her old company, YG Entertainment.

Previously, in an episode of 1theK’s “Look Me Up” series, Lee Hi came across a Namu Wiki entry of her that read, “the biggest victim” who was “under-appreciated” in the company. Upon reading that, she took her stance by the old management agency and affirmed she was very content: “I was a singer who had just debuted, but YG was really supportive, they invested in me a lot and promoted me well.” She also added, “I don’t think I’m a victim! Please don’t pity me.”

Currently, Lee Hi is having a busy schedule with other artists of AOMG. Her journey with AOMG has been fruitful with much support from fans, as seen in the full audience seats. Her cute interactions with other artist-colleagues are also passed around on social media.

Unfortunately, close bonds among artists are not always welcomed. Recently, a photo of Lee Hi and Yugyeom (GOT7) received extreme response from netizens. They criticized her for her physique, which, in turn, was met with confusion from the singer herself. Fans jumped to defend her by stating the two were just close colleagues.

Nonetheless, Lee Hi has seen tremendous growth in both her appearance and visuals since she moved to her new agency. She changes her style to a bolder image and takes on a variety of styles that can showcase her beauty to the fullest.
