BLACKPINK Lisa’s Chinese Fanbase Speaks Up After Lisa’s and Their Weibo Accounts Were Deleted

On November 1st, both BLACKPINK Lisa’s personal account and her fan base’s account on Weibo became inaccessible

When Weibo users attempt to visit Lisa’s Weibo account, a message appears, “This account can no longer be viewed due to reports of violations of laws, regulations, and the Weibo Community Agreement.” This is the aftermath of the controversy over Lisa’s Crazy Horse show, which has been facing criticism in China.

Lisa’s Chinese fan base, known as Lisa Bar, has addressed the situation. Their statement reads:

“Hello everyone, this is Lisa Bar.

Please be patient. We have some points to make:

  1. Lisa Bar has just contacted customer service, and the initial result is that some staff members are helping us try to recover the account. We can’t provide a definite answer on whether it can be recovered, but Lisa Bar will do its best.
  2. Currently, we can log in to the Lisa Bar account, and you can also view the previous Weibo content as usual, so there’s no need to worry. If the worst happens, we will use a new account to gradually update everything from 2016.
  3. We’ve faced many difficulties, but have they ever defeated us? Rest assured that Lisa Bar is still here, as long as Lisa is here, Lisa Bar won’t fall apart.
  4. Lisa Bar currently doesn’t have enough admins for management. We’re very busy at the moment, so we hope for more time to address this issue. At the same time, we also hope to welcome new things during this challenging time. If you have any questions, suggestions, or want to join Lisa Bar, you can contact us via email”
